The "Ice Bucket Challenge" is getting a warm reception from people all across the country and advocates for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's Disease research say it has done more than they could have ever imagined.

The Oregon company C&K Market files for bankruptcy and is expected to sell or close a third of its stores. A Walterville store got the same notice just a few months before, but was spared at the last moment.

Local Company Sues Columbia Sportswear (Package, shot and edited)
A local company alleges Columbia Sportswear Corporation stole its trade secrets. Columbia representatives made the trek down from Portland to Eugene to take part in a court ordered settlement meeting with owner of the Eugene-based company, Innovative Sports.

Handling Homelessness Across the Country (Long-form package, shot and edited)
One doesn't need to go very far to find signs of homelessness in Eugene. Panhandlers seemingly stand guard at just about every corner. To get a better understanding of the situation here, I traveled to and spoke with folks in other cities to see how Eugene compares when it comes to dealing with the societal issue of homelessness.

14-year-old Carlos Perez, an up and coming boxer in the Springfield community,  died of injuries suffered in a crash back in January. His older brother, Chris Lopez, decides to pick up the gloves again in his honor.
